Rool 1

The soft sand of the Filniss beach was warm under Rool's webbed feet as he stood near a large stone on one of the busiest beaches on Jssfloon.  

"Sea frond?  Lovely souvenir, picked from this very ocean."  He offered each passerby.  Some of them, like the many-legged Trillion, towered over him like starships on legs, casting massive shadows on the sand.  Others were even tinier than himself, scurrying along the edges of large objects, so as not to be stepped on by the larger tourists.

All young Jssfloon living on the largest island were to learn all they could about the tourists that constantly visited their little tropical planet and peddling souveniers of any kind was always encouraged by parents as well as teachers.  

Rool had found that it was a simple task to dive deep into the bay and pick the colorful sea fronds from the ocean floor and dry them.  He quickly found that the feather-like objects were popular among several races.  The Jardini would buy them and almost immidiately stick them in their long kinky hair, while the Lional seemed to find them quite appetizing.  And then there were the random species that always bought things from adorable children....  And Rool was good at looking quite adorable.
